Personalization Solutions for EMEA

To realize our ambitious growth plans in the world of personalization, we are looking for a

Business Development Manager - Personalization Solutions for EMEA (m/f).

 

This position, reporting to the Head of Business Development EMEA, will be responsible to develop new business in EMEA personalisation markets with the complete Roland digital print portfolio.

Ideally, this position is based in the Benelux, Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Main responsibilities in this role are:

  • Set up model for direct sales activities in EMEA Personalisation market and drive initial sales
  • Support channel sales activities in EMEA Personalisation market

 

The Business Development Manager Personalisation Solutions will manage, co-ordinate and execute direct sales activities in EMEA Personalisation market. Guided by the company strategy for personalisation markets, he/she will:

  • develop and implement suitable sales strategies to the territory
  • support existing channel partners for maximum growth and market share in EMEA Personalisation market
  • identify opportunities for new business development in the Personalisation market in close cooperation with marketing
  • advise on portfolio improvements as well as alternative channel supply routes to optimize market potential
  • establish partnerships with other industry players to maximize value proposition
  • identify and connect with key relevant brands & (r)e-tailers that represent profitable business development opportunities for RDG Personalisation Solutions
  • lead pilot projects and deliver revenue from existing Roland DG products or co-created products

 

In this role, it is highly important that you:

  • co-operate with others and build excellent relationships, inside and outside the organisation
  • are able to engage with C-Level executives at customer level and conduct negotiations independently
  • demonstrate skills to keep up to date with developments and trends relevant for the market
  • set high standards for yourself and for others
  • have strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and lead individuals, while not directly supervising them, to achieve objectives

 

For this role, you need:

  • a business or sales related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • C-level direct sales experience, preferably in the printing industry
  • to be self-starting and experienced in working in a global market with a proven track record in sales
  • advanced knowledge of processes related to Personalization
  • excellent written and oral communication in English and French (oral communication skills in German or other European language is a plus)
  • good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM system (preferably Salesforce)
