Roland DG Fespa 2007 Feedback
Roland DG Benelux Fespa, whose 2007 edition took place at the international fairground in Berlin (Germany), again welcomed countless specialist visitors from all over the world, and proved a resounding success for the Roland DG family in the process. Our new, huge, stand not only showcased the entire Roland DG product range, but also several new products.
The VersaCAMM series, with the entry-level VP-300 and the bigger VP-540, was a real showstopper, while the SP series, now with a significantly reduced price tag, kept drawing interested customers in droves. It demonstrated Roland′s edge as the only manufacturer of integrated print & cut machines that cater to cost-efficient graphic production. Of course, our printers and cutting plotters can also generate and read crop marks, which is a benefit for flawless contour-cutting applications. However the efficiency and versatility of our multi-function devices are simply unique. Just imagine the convenience of starting a job before going home, or out for lunch, and finding it ready by the time you return to your office. In addition to the introduction of the new VP-serie, Roland DG launched a four-year warranty scheme for its complete VersaCAMM serie (see our website at www.rolanddg.be for details).
On Wednesday, 6 June, Roland DG received the EDP award for its AJ-1000. This large-format printer was elected best in its class and proved highly popular at Fespa, not least in combination with the brand-new MU-1000 mesh printer unit.
The new "Roland R-Wear" solution also attracted countless potential customers. This system was designed for the production of small-run T-shirts, jeans and other fashion items. Thanks to Roland DG′s revolutionary solution, the combination of printed designs with rhinestones is now even profitable for personalized or limited-quantity orders.
Another highlight was our new VersaWorks with Roland Color Features, which duly impressed our customers. The system is based on a technology that allows our customers to create their own Swatchbooks, thanks to the availability of the desired colors. Special-color prints have never been easier. See www.rolandcolor.eu for details about our unique color system.
